Following their hard-won victory at the Rosewood windmill, the party searched the site, only to discover that most of the stolen refugee supplies were already missing, suggesting a larger gnoll clan was still at large coordinated, resourceful, and dangerous.

Saratuc brought the jawbone of the gnoll leader to the city’s quirky Archmagi, Wregi, who confirmed a grim truth:
These gnolls are not native to Rosenhall.
They hail from Vlorfa, a continent across the sea.
Something—or someone—brought them here.

Elsewhere, Zahkir visited the Auction House, run by the hauntingly composed Mezer Dread, to sell their spoils and put a +1 longsword on hold. Later, she stopped by the Dawn War Cathedral, now under the guidance of the kind Priest Gnash-Bash Bolrag, who revealed that the Raven Queen has fallen, slain, her mantle passed to her archangel successor: Sindatari.

Meanwhile, Mayla cast Find Familiar, summoning her raven companion, only to discover it was Sindatari himself, now the literal God of Death.
Mayla calls him Sindi.

Sindi warned her that the winds of change were blowing, and that she must seek the Ravenknights in Bradford.

But that night, everything changed.

As sleep overtook them, each party member experienced a vision: fragments of memory, prophecy, and warning.

Zahkir’s Dream

She saw Duke Ondor Sev, the deposed leader, weeping in a dilapidated hideout, his hands trembling as he stared into a dying fire.
On the mantle sat a shattered Talwar blade.
A cloaked figure stood nearby, holding an hourglass much like Zahkir’s own pendant.

“Time is running out.” the figure whispered.

Saratuc’s Dream

Memories returned: scheming in the hotel’s secret war room with Jehnam Havenflower, plotting to elevate Ondor Sev to power during the civil war.
They discussed ways to temper Oni’s dangerous idealism, and Saratuc suggested seducing him into love, believing romance might bind him to the establishment.
The dream ended with Oni Sev at a funeral, burying the one he loved, the very pawn they manipulated
a consequence of their scheme.
From a nearby hill, Saratuc and Jehnam watched, realizing then:

They would never be able to control Oni Sev again.

Mayla’s Dream

Sindi visited her once more.
But this time, his tone was urgent.

“My brother, the Overgod, is watching. We can’t speak long.”
He warned her:
“The Mask must be found.”
And instructed her to go to Wyvern Castle, his divine stronghold, beyond the reach of prying ears.

With a divine power shift, haunted pasts resurfacing, and gnolls from across the sea raiding Rosenhall, the party is now caught in a storm of fate: political, prophetic, and personal.
