The Dawn War – 10K BKR
Gods and Primordials waged a brutal war for control of the universe.
Tharizdun unleashed Evil, shattering the Lattice of Heaven and driving the Overgod J_On from the Heavens. Io was split into Tiamat and Bahamut by Zehir. Corellon rose as Overgod, gifting Magic to humanity to make them soldiers in the war.
The Age of Fire – 9K BKR
As Gods and Primordials clashed, Dragons acted as both protectors and enslavers of humanity, earning the title “The Givers.” When Io’s death stripped Dragons of their spellcasting, humanity rebelled, hunting them to near extinction to gain favor with the surviving Gods and becoming the first paladins.
First Flowering – 5K BKR
Arch-Angel Asmodeus banished the Primordials and Tharizdun using the “Tides of Chaos.” The 11 Gods divided control of the world, but Gruumsh, enraged by Corellon’s refusal to grant him anything, stabbed him. Corellon’s spilled blood birthed the first Elves, marking the dawn of their race and a new era.
The Crown War – 4K BKR
While Corellon recovered in the Feywild, he crowned his daughter Velatha as Aire’tari, tasking her to unite Elves and humanity. Velatha’s belief in Elven supremacy sparked a thousand-year war, ending with her use of High Magic to genocide the Dark Elves before being overthrown and slain by her own people.
The Age of Empires – 500 BKR
The Dwarves emerged from their caves and swiftly conquered the world. However, their reign ended abruptly when the Red Dragon Ashardalon destroyed their capital. In a single night, the empire crumbled, leaving behind fragmented kingdoms known as “The Shattered Empire.”
Age of Humanity – 30 AKR
Born into a crumbling city-state after the fall of the Shattered Empire, King Rose united the remnants of humanity under his banner. Aided by Elf Mercenaries called the Taimavar, he conquered and enslaved his Tiefling & Dragonborn neighbors, founding Rosenhall, the most consequential Empire in history.
The Beast War – 100 AKR
Kept alive by Elven Wizards, a feeble King Rose became a puppet of the Taimavar, who passed oppressive edicts against Goblinoids, and Wild Elves. The resulting “Beast” uprising brought a new Rosenhall Constitution, the execution of King Rose, and the creation of “Vlorfa,” a haven for non-humanoids.
Time of Adventure – 200 AKR
After the Vanguard vanished, a new group of heroes, “Ocean’s Oath” assembled to end the Civil War and eradicate the remaining Cult sympathizers. They also aided Asmodeus in reassembling “The Tides of Chaos” to kill Tharizdun. In doing so, Asmodeus assumed the title of Overgod, uniting all 9 hells under his command.
A New Dawn – 247 AKR
Rosenhall is splintered into five independent states. The Church of Asmodeus spreads like wildfire, while Corellon leads the Elves toward peace. New guildhalls inspire citizens to defend their fledgling nations from monsters in the dark.
